Default [Layout] Factions fansite

Well , i'm planning on making a fansite and I made this Factions-themed
layout (don't worry , no URL's or anything are visible so I'm not advertising here , just interested in opinions about the layout)

Sorry for the huge anti-rip thing but I've had unpleasant experiences with that ...

My first post by the way

Formulaic news style. Find a better title font that doesn't look like it came from a chinese buffet menu.

The colors need tweaking.

You would do better with darker colors with White text instead of black on brown. IT will make things easier to read.

A Trebuchet font would be a better choice.

Did what you guys said ,
hope its better now ...

I think the light grey text (its not white ) is too plain so I might change that to a very light sand color.

To make the backgrounds darker I would have to redesign everything,
and I don't feel like doing that.

Besides , I didn't say I did everything

I really like everything...except the logo. I as a webdesigner, would never publish a logo with a big chinese cartoon guy on it. He really doesn't relate to GW.

Try finding a guildwars picture to put there.
And as for the text, us photoshop and use a text style. Otherwise, nice layout.

It's awesome, but it doesn't look like the website has to do with Factions when you first look at it.

#18, agreed.
Take the render of the (sexy) cool Assassin and have that pic on the logo. Maybe u should use a little fatter font.
This is constructive critisism

anyway, the tables and menues are awsome, I _love_ them

Here's som fonts that would look veryy nice: http://www.dafont.com/aniron.font
http://www.dafont.com/carolingia.font
Maybe the logo's height could be reduced with 35px.

Aha .. but the "chinese cartoon guy" does have something to do with Guild Wars It is concept art from the fansite package and he's called The Oracle (off course only people who have downloaded the fansite package know this so I see your point).
